Job Description
The Senior Solicitor will be:
3. Providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
4. Supporting the organisation on governance, compliance and risk matters
5. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial documentation
6. Advising senior stakeholders across academic and professional services teams
7. Contributing to the development of policies, processes and best practice within the legal function
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Solicitor should be:
8. A solicitor or equivalent with strong PQE gained in commercial law
9. Experienced in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
10. Comfortable advising senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-faceted organisation
11. Able to balance risk management with pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
12. Self-sufficient, collaborative and keen to work within a small in-house team
