This role involves analysing potential ethical issues, ensuring research integrity, and assisting in maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics.Responsibilities:Accurate assessment of activities by authors, reviewers, editors, guest editors and othersAssessing large-scale investigations including plagiarism, duplication, authorship disputes, peer review manipulation, and figure manipulation/duplicationKeeping investigations to schedule, and ensuring articles assigned are handled in a timely mannerPrioritising work based on team needsSupporting the regular team reporting and tracking work progress Skills:Degree in an academic disciplineKnowledge/experience of STM journal peer-review and the publishing process, and COPE best practicesAbility to work methodically, problem-solving and fact-checkingStrong analytical, organizational and prioritization skillsExcellent communications skills
