Job Specification – Automation Build Technician Location: Wrexham, North Wales Contract: Permanent Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 (with opportunities for progression) Hours: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–17:15, Friday 08:00–16:15 (9-day fortnight, with 21–23 non-working Fridays per year) About the Role We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation that is expanding its automation department. The team designs, builds, and implements bespoke automated equipment and production lines, using cutting-edge technologies such as 3D CAD, industrial robots, Cobots, 3D printing, and Industry 4.0 smart factory solutions. As an Automation Build Technician, you will be hands-on in the assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of automated machinery and production systems. You’ll work closely with engineers and project managers to help deliver innovative automation solutions in the UK and overseas.
