The Post
The NHS Scotland Scan for Safety (SfS) Programme, established by NSS in 2021, focuses on collecting data related to devices used in patient care, starting with implantable devices, in compliance with UK legislative requirements. This high-profile programme involves engagement across NHS Scotland.
The Data Support Manager will join an experienced team passionate about transforming healthcare services. The role is vital in ensuring core data collection to support the deployment of Point of Care (PoC) scanning as part of the national Inventory Management System rollout, contributing to a wide-ranging transformational change initiative.
The Candidate
* You will have an enthusiastic approach, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Experience in data systems projects, data management, and interrogation is essential.
* Experience in stock control practices and product data collection and analysis is highly desirable.
* You should have a proven track record as a team player and be effective in multidisciplinary teams.
* Demonstrating NSS values of respect, care, openness, integrity, customer focus, commitment, and excellence is vital.
* Knowledge and experience of the NHS would be advantageous.
Location and Working Pattern
The position is based at Canderside, Larkhall, with a hybrid working policy supporting remote work. Due to programme requirements, onsite presence in NHS Scotland acute locations is necessary at times.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Applicants must reside within the UK for employment with NSS.
