Essential qualifications
* Proven technical ability in the design and assessment of bridges and highway structures.
* Degree qualified in relevant subject, ideally to MSc
* Working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE
* Good working knowledge of DMRB and Eurocodes
* Proficiency in use of structural analytical software
* Ability to deliver structural designs from concept to detailed designs stages.
* Experience of working on National Highways and Local Authority schemes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial way
* Willingness to travel within the region if required
* The legal right to work in the UK
* A full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Bridge stock Asset Management experience desirable
* Familiarity working within a BIM project environment desirable.
