Job Title: Office Coordinator

Location: Boroughbridge, York

Job Type: Full-Time


Role Overview

D7 Recruitment is currently hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Office Admin. This role is essential to the day-to-day operations of the business, focusing on coordinating reactive maintenance work and supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


* Answer and log incoming reactive maintenance calls and emails
* Prioritise and schedule jobs using the internal job management system
* Monitor job progress and update systems accordingly
* Communicate with operatives and clients to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
* Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally
* Manage shared email inboxes and respond to queries promptly
* Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate records
* Support the preparation of documentation, reports, and job sheets
* Coordinate scheduling of labour and materials as required
* Provide general administrative support to the wider office team
* Deliver excellent customer service to clients, contractors, and internal staff


Requirements

* Experience:

Previous experience in an office-based administrative or coordination role, ideally in a reactive or service-led environment.
