About the role
Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to act as a first-line, product-embedded compliance partner. You'll advise on retail banking and payments features, customer communications, and financial promotions, while steering our products through complex regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing
* Providing compliance domain expertise to 1LoD, and offering solutions to compliance problem statements
* Acting as an effective stakeholder between 1LoD and 2LoD compliance teams
* Steering retail products through the complex regulatory landscape
* Ensuring every product launch is smooth, compliant, and ahead of the curve
* Identifying potential compliance risks in our retail offerings
* Creating innovative strategies to stay one step ahead of regulatory challenges
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cutting-edge compliance policies that meet legal requirements and drive business growth
* Empowering product teams with the knowledge and tools they need, making compliance a seamless part of the innovation process
* Leading a small team of Business Compliance Managers
* Serving as the go-to expert and liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring our products shine in audits
What you'll need
* 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
* Experience in a top-tier bank, strategy consultancy, or fast-growing technology company
* An excellent understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact
* Experience managing a team
* Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
* The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
