Overview
Consultant Psychiatrist, Liaison - RSCH Service - 12 Month FTC at HwC Ventures. 12-month fixed-term post focused on supporting adults with urgent or complex mental health needs during their time in hospital. Youll lead the care of working-age adults within a multidisciplinary team and provide Liaison Psychiatry input across the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Surrey & Borders NHS Foundation Trust services.
Youll be part of a well-established team, working under a semi-ageless model. Youll collaborate with Older Adults Consultant and other clinical colleagues to ensure joined-up care across the hospital. This role offers the opportunity to influence service delivery during a period of positive development in Liaison Psychiatry services.
This appointment is for a full-time 1.0 WTE Fixed Term Consultant Psychiatrist position focused on Working Age Liaison Psychiatry Service in RSCH.

Responsibilities
* Provide adult Liaison Psychiatry input to the Working Age Liaison Psychiatry Service in RSCH.
* Lead the care of working-age adults in A&E and hospital wards in collaboration with nurses, psychologists, and doctors.
* Assess, treat, and support patients to ensure timely and safe access to the right care.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to integrated care within the hospital setting.
* Collaborate with the Older Adults team to ensure joined-up care across the hospital.
Qualifications
* Mental health medical qualification and full GMC registration.
* Experience in Liaison Psychiatry or equivalent in a hospital setting (preferred).
* Commitment to integrated care and multidisciplinary teamwork.
