We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team at Leafield House
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's development across all areas.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills to support less experienced staff.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare practices, including health and safety protocols.
* Develop strong relationships with children, encouraging their social skills, independence, and self-esteem through positive interactions.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare Level 3 or above.
* Previous nursery experience is highly desirable, along with proven experience working with children in a professional setting.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
