Overview
We are looking for a Company Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You will handle invoicing, payments, reporting, budgeting support, and general financial control. This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-focused, and confident working independently. This role is 5 days onsight in Cardiff Bay.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily financial operations
* Prepare and send customer invoices
* Process supplier payments
* Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
* Produce monthly financial reports for management
* Support budgeting and forecasting
* Assist with audits and compliance requirements
* Monitor and update customer and supplier contracts
* Improve and streamline finance processes
* Work with other teams to provide financial information when needed
Skills & Experience
* 3-4+ years experience in accounting or finance
* Strong Excel skills
* Good understanding of accounting processes
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confident communicator
* Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
Desirable
* Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT)
* Experience in IT, technology, or service-based businesses
