Your new role This role involves leading a multidisciplinary environmental team to ensure delivery of all the specified project outcomes on time, within budget and to the client's specifications and that project requirements are fully met. Act as lead environmental coordinator for major infrastructure projects. Responsibilities will include: Coordinate statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment work for transportation, utility and other infrastructure schemes, liaising with client representatives, planning, project design teams, technical leads and other relevant bodies and organisations. Act as technical approver for major environmental schemes including EIAs, SEAs, environmental technical reports, scoping and feasibility studies. Provide guidance on best methods and practice meeting technical and project requirements. Keep up to date with industry best practice and, where appropriate, brief junior environmental staff.
