Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children this Summer term or in September? Hays Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of local schools in South Birmingham & Solihull.
Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working in primary school settings, supporting pupils both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis. You’ll help deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored support, particularly to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a flexible supply role, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
2. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, NVQ, CACHE or equivalent
3. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
4. Understanding or experience of working with SEN
5. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
6. A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments
