Job Title: Transport Manager
Locations: Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Duties:
* Lead daily haulage operations, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and health & safety standards.
* Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including drivers and transport office staff.
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring consistent service and proactive communication.
* Manage P&L, aligning resource planning with operational and financial goals.
* Foster a high-performance culture through leadership, mentoring, and development of team members.
* Ensure adherence to DVSA guidelines, O-Licence conditions, tachograph regulations, and working time directives.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in Transport & Operations Management
* Transport Compliance expertise
* Staff Management, Route Optimization, Cost Saving
* CPC qualification required
