Your new role
Working as a Weighbridge Clerk / Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following
1. Overseeing the weighbridge operation, including weighing of inbound and outbound vehicles, logging and recording all information.
2. Route planning andmunicating with the drivers regarding uing / next day’s deliveries.
3. Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email.
4. Putting together quotes for work, taking orders and raising them on the system.
5. Raising jobs on the CRM system – Waste Logic.
6. Updating customers on the progress of their order / delivery status.
7. This is a fast-paced office environment with a focus on providing first-class customer service in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have relevant experience of working on a weighbridge / dealing with customer orders. You'll befortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be a good team player. You'll be able to think on your feet and prioritise. You'll be IT literate andfortable picking up new systems. Previous experience of Weighbridge operation or Logistics Administration is highly advantageous. You'll be dealing with customers on a daily basis, so you'll befortable speaking to people at all levels.
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role to start ASAP. This is a fully office-based role. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7am to, half an hour for lunch, hours per week. £ per hour. The office is located in the Newport area.
