Due to a period of innovation, Spire have opened a state of the art Patient Support Centre in the heart of Brentwood; we now have a number of Administrator and Customer Service vacancies available in our new hub for people looking to develop or begin their healthcare career.
In this pivotal role, you will be expected to provide and maintain an efficient service for all of our patients who contact the centre - we receive hundreds of calls daily across our 3 main departments;
1. Self Pay Bookings
2. NHS Bookings
3. Outpatient Appointments
When applying for the role we will consider your application against all 3 departments criteria, those will strong experience in both customer service and sales will be prioritised. However, we do provide full comprehensive training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
4. Manage the telephone lines in an effective and timely manner
5. Provide and maintain an efficient diary for management of clinics
6. Manage and process patient documentation, confirming details with patients/consultants and secretaries as appropriate
7. Respond to enquiries from patients, members of the public and consultants in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner either by telephone or letter
Who are we looking for:
8. Exceptional customer service skills
9. Sales experience is desirable, however, not essential as full training will be provided
10. Experience of handling high call volumes in a fast paced environment
11. High level of PC literacy and experience of using multiple systems and programmes
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
13. The ability to work effectively as part of a team
14. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with strong organisational skills
