Your new role As a Corporate Services Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support within a busy Corporate Services team. Reporting to the Office Manager, you'll act as a key point of contact for internal colleagues, external stakeholders, and elected members. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering confidential administrative support across the Corporate Services function. Managing and monitoring shared mailboxes and supporting the development of electronic catalogues. Assisting with diary management for senior leaders. Coordinating meetings, events, and room bookings. Maintaining records, processing data, and compiling management information reports. Supporting website administration and access control. Assisting with purchase orders, invoicing, petty cash and PCard administration. Supporting facilities, office management tasks, stationery upkeep, travel planning and events. What you'll need to succeed You will have strong administrative experience, ideally gained within a professional or public‑sector environment. You'll be confident managing multiple tasks, handling confidential information, and working to tight deadlines. You should also demonstrate: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong IT capability, with the ability to process data and produce reports. High attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
