We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join a well-established nursery group in Kensington, Greater London. You will have a hands-on management style, excellent communication and team building skill.
We are looking for:
* Level 3 Childcare qualification or above
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
* Track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
* Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Some of the Nursery Manager responsibilities will include:
1. Leading by example and managing day to day nursery operations
2. Working closely with operations managers and managing KPIs
3. Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
4. Developing a staff team, managing recruitment, induction, ongoing supervisions, conducting regular staff assessments, identifying and sourcing training needs
5. Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to develop all aspects of the child's interindividual learning and development
6. Ensuring staff understand and adhere to all nursery policy and procedures
7. Managing budgets and keep accurate records of staffing, payroll, banking, petty cash, issuing invoices and fee collection
