Our client is a food trading firm known for the distribution of imported food products of every variety. They are looking for a Head of Sales for the SEA & MENA Markets who will be responsible for the overall revenue & profitability targets of the business.
Job Description
The Head of Sales for the SEA & MENA Markets will be responsible for the following:
Overall sales leader responsible for revenue growth and profitability targets.
Understand and create opportunities in Global F&V trade - import & exports pairs
Own the business: manage the P&L, cashflow, develop new business models, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them
Create a network of Agents, Distributors, Pack Houses, Logistics partners across major trade routes & consumption centers
Develop deep and long standing relationship with customers - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical
Have an in depth knowledge of competition and vendors and ability to influence the market
Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions
Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience in import / export of:
Grapes
Apples
Pomegranate Geography Experience - South East Asia
15+yrs of experience in Sales, Agri Commodity exports, Agri business.
Understands the entire value chain of agri exports and has network of stakeholders at each step
Large P&L management experience is preferred
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
