Overview
Warm & Friendly Personal Assistant Needed for Our Joyful 4-Year-Old.
Role Details
Employment status: Employed.
Hours per week: 3 hours on a Saturday, plus an extra 39 hours in the year to be used flexibly. Please apply with your availability.
Hourly pay rate: £12.21 per hour. Mileage at 45p per mile.
Drivers licence required: Yes. Own vehicle needed: Yes.
Responsibilities
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Other relevant duties as required
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
* Facilitate social and leisure activities (walks, park visits, swimming)
* Engage in sensory play and activities at home
Candidate Qualities

* Able to follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualities
* Experience working with children, especially those with SEN or communication needs
* Familiarity with Makaton or willingness to learn
Additional Requirements
* Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
* Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
