The job:
The purpose of the Finance Manager/Management Accountant is to provide support to the Managing Director and a full-time Finance Assistant whilst ensuring the timely production of management accounts.
* Preparation of management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations etc
* Providing key reports to the Senior Management Team
* Weekly cashflow reporting
* CIS submissions
* Revenue recognition
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing supplier payments
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll
* Assisting with process improvements
* Other ad hoc duties as required
The person:
* Previous experience is required.
* Payroll experience is essential!
* The ability to work on your own initiative, be proactive and take ownership is essential.
* Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
* You must be IT literate with strong Excel skills.
* Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an advantage.
