Location: Filton
Type: 12-Month contract with potential extension
Hours: 35 per week (Flexi, Friday half-day)
Shift Pattern: 4.5-day week
Rate: £29.81 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role
Morson is currently recruiting a highly organised and technically proficient Manufacturing Engineer on behlaf of GKN Aerospace, specialising in Cutting Tool Lifecycle Management.
This is a key role supporting operational and development programmes, focused on delivering robust, zero-defect manufacturing processes and optimising the performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of cutting tools across machining operations.
You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, suppliers, and technical specialists to drive tooling performance, process optimisation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing Manufacturing Engineering & Technical Support
1. Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with GKN Aerospace HSE standards.
2. Deliver technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges across machining environments.
3. Support machining process development, integration, troubleshooting, and non-conformance resolution.
