Senior Family Solicitor – Future Head of Department

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join a respected and well-established law firm, working closely with the current Partner with a clear pathway to becoming Head of Department as part of the firm’s succession planning.
This is a key strategic hire, offering a progressive role for an ambitious solicitor who is ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role:
You will handle a broad and high-quality privately funded caseload including:
* Divorce and separation
* Financial remedy proceedings
* Cohabitation disputes
* Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
* Private law children matters (as applicable)
You will work alongside the Family Partner initially, with the role evolving into Head of Department in due course, offering the chance to help shape the future of the team.
About You:
* 8+ years PQE in family law with strong technical knowledge
* Proven experience managing complex financial and relationship breakdowns
* Confident handling a full private caseload independently
* Strong client care, leadership potential, and commercial awareness
* A passion for developing others and contributing to the wider success of the department
