TrustTech Recruitment is working with a high-growth consumer technology company that is looking for a Fractional Personalisation Consultant to join their team. As a Fractional Personalisation Consultant, you will shape and improve personalised discovery experiences across digital products, helping the business surface relevant content and drive engagement through data‑led decision making.
This role is advisory and strategic, partnering closely with senior product and engineering stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in defining how user behaviour, content signals and experimentation frameworks coalesce to power high‑quality personalised feeds and discovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and own the personalisation and relevance strategy across digital platforms
* Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention and conversion through personalised discovery
* Advise on behavioural event tracking, signal design and data foundations
* Guide the design of ranking and relevance approaches across feeds, search and browsing experiences
* Support experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and success metrics
* Partner closely with engineering and product teams to influence architecture and implementation decisions
* Provide hands‑on guidance, reviews and knowledge sharing around modern personalisation practices
Key Skills Required
* Strong experience in personalisation, recommender systems or relevance‑driven products
* Deep understanding of behavioural signals, event modelling and data‑driven ranking
* Experience working with feed‑based or discovery‑led consumer applications
* Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and performance measurement
* Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels without being a hands‑on developer
* Knowledge of modern cloud‑based architectures and data pipelines
* Confident communicator able to influence senior technical and non‑technical stakeholders
