The Registered Manager Position
We are looking for a new registered manager to lead our team at Abbeyvale Care Centre’s 42-bed service. During your induction, you will be supported by your Regional Operations Manager and Director, along with a network of professionals to mentor you into your new role. We are proud to be a Good CQC rated service and are seeking someone relentless in their pursuit of excellence for the people we support.
About The Role
* Lead the service to ensure the health and wellbeing of individuals and colleagues, fostering opportunities for everyone to unlock their potential.
* Maintain high standards of quality and governance, utilizing tools provided to deliver outstanding care in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. A passion for continuous improvement and process-driven approach is essential.
* Coach and mentor colleagues, setting an example and leading from the front.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring staff coverage, regular team meetings, and training compliance.
* Build strong relationships with families, external professionals, and regulators to promote collaborative working.
* Support the transition of new individuals into our services, from assessment to achieving their full potential.
* Ensure proper documentation and empower teams to deliver excellent written communications and care plans.
* Complete reporting responsibilities with full training provided to support quality and compliance.
* The role requires registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
About You
* Experience working with elderly clients and dementia, with some mental health care experience preferred.
* Established Registered Manager seeking a new challenge.
* Attention to detail, passion for quality and governance.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required; Level 4 or 5 is advantageous, with support available to achieve these.
* Strong leadership values, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at various levels.
* Excellent time management skills, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset.
* Flexible to cover shifts and participate in the on-call rota, as services operate 7 days a week.
