Work Level & Location
Mid‑Senior level. Hybrid in Edinburgh or Glasgow (work in office 2 days per week).
What you’ll bring
You’ll lead the end‑to‑end experimentation process—from hypothesis generation to solution delivery. You’ll work across teams to identify business problems, develop robust tests, and deliver measurable improvements to drive our ambition to have the best‑in‑class digital customer experience.
What you’ll be doing
* Develop and own data‑driven experimentation strategies and roadmaps.
* Work closely with insight, product, commercial and development teams to develop data‑driven experiments to solve business problems and validate opportunities.
* Collect and analyse experiment data, turning numbers into knowledge that drives our strategic objectives.
* Build and report on experiment findings through dashboarding, engaging presentations and compelling reports.
* Write robust experiment specification documents, manage tickets & approvals, and QA builds—establishing visibility and quality.
* Understand organisational policies, procedures and regulatory codes, ensuring work aligns to standards.
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the optimisation function, operating with integrity and a growth mindset.
* Support the Digital Experiment Analysts with reporting, experiment set‑up and skills development.
What you should have
* Proven experience operating at a high level, either leading small CRO teams or playing a significant role in a larger function.
* Strong digital analytics skills, focused on customer journeys using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
* Extensive experience with the implementation and use of optimisation tools such as Oracle UBI, Optimizely, AB Tasty, VWO, etc.
* Experience with content personalisation and targeting.
* Deep understanding of experimentation statistical principles.
* Ability to read and edit HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* A customer‑first mindset and ability to prioritise high‑impact work.
* Strong communication skills to share insights with technical and non‑technical audiences.

* Previous experience in financial services or a regulated environment.
* Familiarity with tag management systems (e.g., Ensighten, GTM).
* Exposure to agile environments and marketing technologies.
* Line management experience.
