Are you passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for children and young people with sensory and additional needs? Prospero Teaching are looking for creative, compassionate tutors to deliver 1:1 sensory-based education tailored to each learner's unique profile.
As a Sensory Curriculum Specialist Tutor, you'll design and deliver interest-led, holistic sessions that support emotional regulation, communication, and engagement.
As a aTutor you will:
Deliver bespoke, sensory-rich learning experiences in homes or community settings.
Build strong, trusting relationships with learners to foster engagement and progress.
Use tools like PECS, Makaton, emotion cards, and visual aids to support communication.
Implement trauma-informed strategies and follow individual risk assessments.
Track progress and adapt sessions to meet evolving needs.
About you:
Minimum 1 years' experience working with children with complex additional needs or in an EYFS setting.
Deep understanding of sensory integration, communication supports, and holistic education.
Creative, flexible, and committed to making learning accessible and fun.
Willingness to register as self-employed.
Strong safeguarding awareness and emotional resilience.Position - Tutor

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with learners with SEND
Experience of working with young people in EYFS settingsTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
