Shifts • Monday to Sunday – 5 days out of 7 Rates of Pay • Basic (Days): £16.50 per hour • Nights: £17.50 per hour • Saturday: £18.75 per hour • Sunday: £20.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Carrying out deliveries to major RDC supermarket sites • Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured • Adhering to all traffic laws and driving regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements • Assisting with loading and unloading cargo in line with delivery notes • Working with fridge trailers as required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE licence • Minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) • Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping • Strong understanding of road transport regulations • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience • Experience working with fridge trailers Training Provided • Full site induction and training • Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information. xjlbheb
