Position: Senior Electrical Engineer – Projects Location: Dorset – On-site Employment Type: Staff or Contract Industry: Oil & Gas – Onshore Operations Overview: We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established onshore oil and gas facility. This role will lead the electrical discipline in scoping and delivering CAPEX and OPEX modifications, while ensuring technical integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. The position also serves as back-up to the Senior Site Electrical Support Engineer, providing technical guidance and oversight for electrical engineering activities. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering elements of CAPEX and OPEX projects as per annual plans. Provide electrical engineering support to projects led by other disciplines. Perform standard electrical calculations, checks, and reviews. Participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies. Ensure compliance with internal engineering standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct peer reviews and provide electrical input for Management of Change (MOC) risk assessments. Lead or support incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Mentor and manage graduate engineers as part of a structured development programme.
