Are you ready to make a real impact in healthcare through technology? The Northern Care Alliance is seeking a passionate and proactive End User Compute (EUC) Engineer to join our dynamic Digital Operations team. You’ll be at the heart of supporting and maintaining the digital tools that power patient care, from desktops and laptops to mobile devices and virtual environments.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the configuration and maintenance of end‑user devices, including desktops, VDIs, laptops, mobile devices and their applications.
* Contribute to ensuring the efficient operation of EUC systems, adhering to NHS standards and protocols.
* Provide technical support to resolve EUC issues and incidents efficiently, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to minimise downtime.
* Implement basic security measures to protect EUC environments and sensitive data, including managing antivirus software and supporting cybersecurity risk mitigation.
* Help improve and optimise EUC infrastructure, delivering high‑quality technical support services to patients and staff.
Qualifications
Experience with ITSM systems and a passion for problem‑solving are essential. Knowledge of healthcare IT and certifications such as ITIL or Microsoft are a bonus.
