Join Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme in Tameside – a one-year paid placement working in a secondary school supporting pupils and learning from experienced teachers. This programme is designed to develop graduates into confident, skilled education professionals ahead of their teacher training.
What will you do?
* Support students with learning, behaviour and progress
* Work in-class, with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
* Help plan and deliver subject-specific interventions (especially in core subjects)
* Gain experience of classroom and school life across all key stages
* Receive mentorship, CPD and advice about future routes into teaching
What we’re looking for:
* A recent graduate (2:2 or above in any subject, especially English, Maths, Science or Humanities)
* Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
* A strong desire to pursue a career in education
* Organised, proactive, and approachable individuals
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
