SEN Tutor – Wantage (Primary or Secondary) | £20–£30 per hour
Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN tutor looking to make a meaningful impact?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to support students in Wantage, working with learners who have a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, PDA, and other neurodivergent profiles. This is a flexible and rewarding role, ideal for professionals confident in delivering Maths and English tuition at either primary or secondary level.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one, personalised tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.
Plan and implement structured schemes of work, adapting lessons to suit SEN learners.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support ongoing development.
Build positive, supportive relationships that help boost student confidence and engagement.
Requirements:
Experience supporting students with SEN, especially those with ASD, ADHD, and PDA.
Confident teaching Maths and English at primary and/or secondary level.
Skilled in assessment, planning, and delivering tailored learning programmes.
Patient, empathetic, and able to build trust with learners and families.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Hourly rate: £20–£30 (based on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
