Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - UK
Location: Middlesbrough, TS8 0TQ
Hours: 8am – 5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am – 2pm Fri (40/per week)
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
Holidays: Starting at 23 plus Christmas Eve and 8 Bank Holidays

Purpose of the Role
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is a role that requires proficiency in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Ensuring the efficient operation of equipment by performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, as well as responding to machine breakdowns. The role requires a proactive individual who will offer suggestions for improvement, often with a focus on preventing breakdowns and maximising productivity. Sourcing and maintaining a stock of spare parts for repairs/maintenance and scheduling external specialists when required. This role will also provide basic building maintenance albeit carrying out repairs or sourcing external contractors as required.
Qualifications/Experience
· HNC/HND or similar engineering qualification
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery including pneumatics and hydraulics
· Safety first mind-set
· Must have a hands-on, can-do attitude
· Must work within commutable distance to Middlesbrough, TS8 0TQ
· Experience of basic plumbing/ handyman an advantage
· Working to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
