General Fitter
The Role:
We are looking for dedicated General Fitters to join our assembly line team. You'll be involved in building high-value, large, and technically complex products that integrate mechanical and electrical systems.
Each product is complex, so this role requires patience, consistency, and a strong focus on detail. You'll be part of a structured, supportive team environment where quality and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Component Assembly - Fit and secure mechanical and electrical components as part of a structured assembly process
* Quality Assurance - Work closely with the Quality team to ensure all work meets required specifications
* Team Collaboration - Support colleagues to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and workflow
* Health & Safety Compliance - Follow all UK health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Equipment Handling - Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
* Process Improvement - Help identify opportunities to improve assembly efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
* Experience - Previous experience in high-end assembly line work or manufacturing is preferred
* Technical Skills - Comfortable using hand tools and assembly equipment
* Attention to Detail - Strong focus on precision and delivering high-quality work
* Teamwork - Able to collaborate effectively in a structured production environment
* Physical Fitness - Capable of carrying out manual tasks and working on an assembly line
* Forklift Licence - Experience is an advantage; training can be provided if required
