As a Senior Deliver Manager, you’ll manage a team to ensure your portfolio of products and services delivers to expectations and that every opportunity is realised – including identifying new products and collaborations to feed into our continued growth. What you’ll be doing:
* Working alongside the Group Leader for the Dimensional Metrology group to provide support in the day-to-day management of the team.
* Be a champion for continuous improvement, encourage adoption of new tools and processes to ensure efficient and effective operational delivery.
* Develop, maintain, and manage multi-point relationships across NPL (and externally) sharing and disseminating best practice, briefing the teams, and providing guidance where necessary.
* Work with the group leader to improve measurement services delivery while decreasing nonconformities.
* Manage part of the group involved in the delivery of measurement services building highly motivated, customer focused and performing team.
* Be responsible for Compliance Management System (CMS) data integrity and completeness of information, supporting the teams to ensure all activities and outputs within your remit (including new products and services) are fully compliant with NPL’s quality management, internal and external governance, and legislative responsibilities.

* An Operations background
* Line management experience and keen to build on managing large teams.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as H&S, QA, facilities, maintenance, security, and logistics.
* Awareness of ISO 17025 as well as a strong drive to keep and improve health and safety standards.
We would also welcome the following:
* A Technical degree would be advantageous as you’ll be having high-level conversations with scientists and engineers.
* Project management skills to organise and prioritise workload across multiple activities.
Your role will require you to work in both an office and laboratory environment, primarily at the Teddington site, but you may be expected to travel occasionally.
