Do you have a calm, caring nature and a passion for helping young people succeed?
We’re looking for dedicated individuals to provide 1:1 support for students with special educational needs in secondary schools across Newcastle. You’ll work closely with pupils who need extra help — building trust, encouraging independence, and ensuring they feel supported and understood in the classroom.

What you’ll do:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with SEND
* Help pupils engage with lessons and develop key skills
* Support emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
You’ll need:
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with young people
* A flexible, professional approach
* Experience in education, care, or SEN support is an advantage but not essential
What you’ll get:
* Weekly pay through PAYE (£90–£110 per day)
* Free access to online CPD and training, including SEND and behaviour management courses
* Ongoing support from a dedicated local consultant
* Opportunities across mainstream and specialist school settings
