As a Production and Planning technician, you will be an integral part of the Production Engineering & Control Team. Your mission? To ensure efficient material allocation and minimise waste while collaborating with Production Supervisors. You'll receive comprehensive training to help you thrive in this role! Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating programmes for laser and plasma machines after training. Plan and manage material allocation effectively. Track material stock and offcut allocation diligently. Load and release shop orders into the MRP system. Print and collate routing sheets and drawings for the Machine Shop. Support team members with general duties to enhance productivity.What You Bring: Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes. Ability to read technical drawings (basic understanding is essential). Proficiency in IT systems, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
