As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work within the mechanical team to maintain all plant machinery, including proactive planned maintenance and breakdown repair. You will receive instructions from the Shift Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisors to undertake projects and maintenance work in conjunction with other mechanical technicians and engineering personnel.
General duties you will carry out as Maintenance Engineer:
* Review repairs from the planned CMMS records to carry out breakdown and planned maintenance tasks
* Read and understand drawings, designs and system schematics to assess equipment, systems performance and evaluate the cause of any malfunctions
* Assist in ongoing process control and quality improvement developments including product trial management and evaluation
* Respond to site emergencies to recover and restore production in a timely manner.
