Paralegal – Clinical Negligence (London)
I am seeking a motivated Paralegal to join a busy Clinical Negligence team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting fee earners on a varied caseload while developing your own legal skills under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist solicitors with the day-to-day management of clinical negligence cases
* Draft legal documents, correspondence, and witness statements using precedents
* Undertake legal research and present findings clearly and accurately
* Liaise with clients, experts, and third parties, providing a professional and empathetic service
* Maintain accurate and well-organised files (electronic and hard copy)
* Support file management processes, including compliance with risk and regulatory requirements
* Handle general administrative duties to support the wider team
* Work towards individual and team targets, ensuring deadlines are met
1. About You
* Law degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification (e.g. GDL/CILEx)
* Previous experience in clinical negligence or personal injury (preferred)
* Strong drafting and legal research skills
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
