This school caters to a wide range of children and young people with SEN, including Autistic Spectrum Condition, visual and hearing impairments, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties. This specialist school strives to achieve the best outcomes for their students, and invests a lot of time and resources into the students learning and development. This school is committed to meeting the individual needs of the children, providing each child with their own EHCP, to ensure the child’s need are met and their development is on track. Role requirements: The applicant is required to hold a UK QTS qualification and have previous experience working with students with special educational needs. We expect you to have a strong understanding of EHCP processes and inclusive teaching strategies as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with the SENDCO and other staff. You will be required to deliver quality lessons within a diverse classroom setting while providing guidance and support to a variety of different learning needs. Students with special educational needs require consistency and continuity, meaning it is essential that our staff are reliant and trustworthy individuals.
