Circa £90,000-£105,000 per annum depending on skills & experience + £6,744 annual car allowance & company bonus scheme.
We are now recruiting for a newly created role within our Operations Senior Leadership Team for a Network & Operational Solutions Director.
Do you have in-depth Hub and Spoke network strategy experience & are you able to lead and motivate others?
Are you curious about the art of the possible, open-minded, and creative about future solution design?
You will be accountable for the development and delivery of the Network Strategy as well as the Operational Solution Design for our propositions (Core and Growth), to embed them as business as usual (BAU) and meet service and cost requirements.
This is a key leadership role within our Operations team, reporting to and acting as a proxy for our Operations Director, enabling significant impact and career development in a challenging environment.

About the role
This role involves managing operational solutioning for the Growth pipeline, ensuring new business integrates into a sustainable, pre-designed, and pre-agreed solution aligned with our End to End (E2E) Operating Model. It includes overseeing technology and automation integration, especially in logistics networks and automated warehousing, with a focus on process flow and optimization. You will also manage capital projects and operational procedures using Operational Excellence (OE) methodology.
About you
* Strong understanding of network strategy and its impact on operations
* Experience in designing and managing logistics networks, including Hub and Spoke configurations
* Expertise in solution design, layout, and process optimization
* Knowledge of automation technologies in operational contexts
* Ability to analyze costs and develop KPIs for new solutions
* Leadership skills and stakeholder engagement experience
* Strategic planning and analytical skills
* An open, curious mind to explore innovative solution designs
