About the Role
As our People Business Partner, you’ll be the trusted advisor to leaders across the site, guiding, influencing, and enabling them to deliver exceptional results through their teams. In this role, you will:
* Act as a proactive partner on employment law, employee relations, L&D, recruitment, organisational change, and policies.
* Lead day‑to‑day People priorities and contribute to the development of People and Training strategies.
* Support and refine Company‑wide HR processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
* Drive and influence change management programmes and champion effective communication and engagement.
* Coach and mentor managers to strengthen leadership capability and promote a high‑performance culture.
* Lead People projects, partner with Health & Safety/OH, and support succession planning and talent development.
* Oversee People metrics, HR reporting, restructuring activities, and HRIS accuracy.
* Collaborate closely with recruitment partners and ensure strong onboarding and appraisal processes are consistently delivered.
About You
* Current knowledge of UK HR best practice within manufacturing or a similar operational environment.
* Strong influencing, persuasion, and coaching skills—able to challenge thoughtfully and constructively.
* Experience in an international, unionised organisation.
* Ability to juggle multiple complex priorities with precision in a fast‑paced setting.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR ERP systems (SAP desirable).
* A postgraduate HR qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths & English (grade C or above).
* CIPD membership, psychometric testing training, or job evaluation experience (Hay Methodology) would be advantageous.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
