Junior Administrator
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Office-based in Midlothian (with on-site parking)
Permanent - hybrid working model
Meraki Talent are delighted to support an established business in the search for an experienced Administrator to join a busy and supportive office administration team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of training schemes, assessments, and membership services within the wider organisation.
You'll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across several key schemes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of applications, maintaining databases, producing reports, and responding to enquiries. This is a varied role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate applicant records and manage sensitive data
* Provide administrative support for apprenticeship and adult trainee schemes
* Assist in the organisation of award competitions and assessments
* Liaise with members, apprentices, and training providers to offer advice and resolve queries
* Help produce regular reports and upload data to internal systems
* Support the planning and delivery of new services and process improvements
Skills and Experience
* Strong administrative experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload
* Experience providing advice or support to customers
Working hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
* Includes one unpaid 60-minute lunch break per day
