You will partner across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance to shape forecasts, challenge assumptions, and drive better business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the use of AI, automation, and BI tools within your role to improve financial modelling, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
* Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance insight generation.
* Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and methodologies to scale with the business.
Cross-Functional Partnering
* Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance teams to align assumptions across revenue, pricing, pipeline, and cost inputs.
* Challenge and refine non-finance assumptions to ensure robust, commercially sound decision-making.
* Support pricing strategy and margin optimisation through close collaboration with commercial teams.
* Build and maintain robust, driver‑based financial models to support strategic decision‑making.
* Lead cash flow and working capital forecasting, incorporating operational drivers (e.g. customer and supplier terms, inventory, lead times, liquidity).
* Perform scenario, sensitivity, and variance analysis to inform planning and performance.
* Translate financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* 3–5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance, or similar (experience in venture capital or VC‑backed businesses advantageous).
* Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability.
* Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and financial systems (e.g. Dynamics).
* Experience using automation and/or AI to improve workflows or analysis.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to communicate complex financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths or similar.
