About the Team
You will be in one of the 10 Services for Young People district teams and will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the prospects of young people.
Working with young people locally aged 11 to 17 in groups of 12-25, many of whom face challenges in their home life, education or local community, you’ll help us deliver targeted prevention and early interventions, informal education opportunities and develop their skills.
Supported by qualified and experienced staff, you will be a key member of our team supporting the delivery of a diverse range of curriculum programmes including independent living skills and emotional wellbeing, to supporting young people in staying away from crime, anti-social behaviour and offering guidance on relationships and sexual health.
About the role
Our sessions run for 2.5 hours and typically evenings Monday - Saturday during term time which depending on the weekly hours you can commit to could be the following:
* 5 hours = 2 sessions a week
* 7.5 hours = 3 sessions a week
* 10 hours = 4 sessions a week
