We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for change to work within our team of change professionals; with a keen eye for detail, someone with outstanding analytical skills, strong stakeholder management and excellent organisational and communication skills. As an experienced analyst we would expect you to quickly adapt to our organisation using your skills to support and introduce changes to our business processes and systems in a controlled and methodical way. The Change Management team for the Retail division within Gallagher UK is responsible for delivering projects of different types, sizes and complexity including: business change, operational efficiency, regulatory, data transformation, system enhancements, migration and operational efficiency Projects. So we are looking for a Business Change BA, ideally with some experience of systems and data projects – but not a technical systems analyst. How you'll make an impact Help to scope projects by recognising and understanding the business problem and primary objectives of new change initiatives. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders working with them to establish business and customer needs, producing requirements and design documents. Use a variety of techniques and methodologies to elicit and endorse requirements, coordinate walk-through and signoffs. Support and management of User Acceptance Testing when required, providing insight into resolution of any fixes. Support and assistance to our training team in rolling out new processes or functionality. Plan, design and deliver the handover of business processes to the functional owner in a way that allows for continuous improvement. You will need to be a self-starter, who is well organised and able to work independently on complex tasks and deliver high quality results. You will act as a champion for change, whilst working in a fast-paced environment. As a valued member of the change team we expect you to participate and support continuous improvements within the team and its processes. About You Experience as a Business Analyst, ideally from an insurance or financial services background (experience in other regulated industries will be considered). Formal Business Analysis qualification or membership of relevant professional body is desirable. Both commercial and customer minded – able to perform analysis that delivers customer and outcome-focussed solutions. Ability to extract and piece together required learning from a broad range of different opportunities and sources and finding opportunities for process and/or system improvements. Experience in creating complex as-is and to-be business process maps to form part of wider target operating models. Requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis and preparation of functional design documents wireframes. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. Outstanding presentation skills, able to present complex or technical processes concisely to business colleagues. Deadline driven, setting priorities in order to achieve time-bound outcomes. Good people management skills, a creative problem-solver with an ambitious, can-do attitude. Exposure to broking applications such as Acturis or CDL Strata an advantage. A proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office) including Visio. Experience of using project tools such Jira or Dev Ops. Exposure to working in waterfall and agile project delivery environments. Experience of working in matrix teams across multiple offices, including third party suppliers. Eligible to work in the UK with site travel required from time to time.
