Key Responsibilities of the Commercial & Operational Executive;
Drive Growth & Open Doors
Identify and research new customers, partners, and routes to market globally
Build high-quality lead lists and support outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn)
Spark interest, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for senior team members
Prepare sharp, insightful meeting briefs that set conversations up for success
Keep Customers Moving Forward
Stay connected with customers and partners, building momentum and trust
Spot opportunities (reorders, upsell signals, decision-makers)
Keep communication flowing and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Act as the glue between commercial, technical, and operations teams
Own Stock Awareness & Delivery Coordination
Monitor stock against demand and upcoming opportunities
Raise orders proactively and manage lead times intelligently
Keep a clear view of risks, availability, and delivery timelines
Communicate confidently and accurately with customers
Be Part of the Action at Events
Support international trade exhibitions from planning to execution
Represent the business, engaging visitors and identifying opportunities
Capture leads and turn conversations into follow-ups
Deliver post-event insights that shape future strategy
Keep Everything on Track
Maintain a clean, up-to-date CRM with clear next steps and insights
Track outreach, pipeline progress, and commercial activity
Manage shared inboxes and ensure fast, professional responses
Continuously improve simple processes, trackers, and coordination
What We’re Looking For
You’re organised, commercially aware, and ready to take ownership. You thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
Experience in sales support, business development, partnerships, or commercial operations
Strong communicator with excellent follow-through
Confident researching, reaching out, and building relationships
Commercially savvy, especially when managing expectations and timelines
Detail-oriented and comfortable using CRM systems
Open to occasional UK and international travel
