Job Purpose
This role reports to the Formulation Manager, and will provide support for three key areas: Clinical Manufacturing, Development materials management and assistance within the Formulation Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a pharmaceutical background and ideally experience within a cGMP, FDA and MHRA regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
* Assist scientists in clinical manufacturing and other GMP activities
* Cleaning of rooms and equipment
* Set up of rooms/equipment for clinical manufacturing
* Execution of GMP documentation (training will be provided)
* Compliance with GMP (training will be provided)
* Manage inventory
* Disposal of expired materials and ordering excipients, capsules, reagents, laboratory consumables etc
* Receive, label and process materials for development use
* Manage the cleanliness of the laboratory
* Sampling of raw materials for development use
* Assist scientists in technical batch manufacturing and other formulation laboratory activities
* Perform analysis/testing in support of formulation development activities

* Willing to study for relevant qualification
* Able to communicate well via written media with specific emphasis on report writing

* Must have a keen interest in Life Sciences/Pharma industries
Computer skills: Must be competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, e-mail and internet.
Literacy and Numeracy: Must have excellent communication skills, particularly written English and interpretation, and Maths.
