Role Overview
A special educational needs school in Oxford invites a university graduate to join as a Learning Support Assistant, starting immediately or in September. This role offers valuable experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Child Psychologists, or Speech and Language Therapists.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, physical disabilities and emotional and behavioural needs.
* Help each child stay on track with their work and meet their milestones.
* Assist the class teacher in creating a fun and exciting classroom environment.
* Provide social and emotional support and encourage social development.
* Implement individualised support plans and learning strategies to help each child reach their full potential.
Qualifications
* University graduate.
* Passionate about SEN, mental health and inclusive education.
* Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
Benefits
* Salary: £90 to £100 per day.
* Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
* Location: Oxford.
* Immediate or September start available.
