A leading and well-established bus operator is seeking a skilled and reliableBus Mechanicto join its engineering team based in the Wimbledon area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier company offering competitive pay, a strong work-life balance, and a modern fleet.
The Role:
As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses to the highest safety and performance standards. Youll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, reliable, and compliant with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Perform MOT preparation and general repairs
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out
What Were Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician, or PSV Engineer
* Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to high standards xsngvjr of safety and workmanship
