Responsibilities
* Work as the senior team leader of a team of other electrical or mechanical engineers and mechanical fitters, often consisting of two or more engineers across a range of sites
* Carry out electrically complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements
* Undertake complex electrical repairs and modifications of dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment
* Work under CDM regulations on projects work
* Lead remedial work on dewatering EICA systems
* Troubleshoot dewatering electrical systems: filtration, centrifuge
* Design and install electrical control systems to WIMES of switchgear, including wiring and cabling works
* Carry out electrical inspections, services and repairs to customers' dewatering assets and machines
* Provide standby cover and overtime as required, and be flexible to work away from home
* Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents
* Complete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork
Note: some mechanical crossover is part of the role and it will not be 100% electrical at all times.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an industrial environment
* NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering maintenance at Level 3
* BS Inspection & Testing qualification, 18th Edition
* ICA experience
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Compex Trained
* Confined Space Trained
* First Aid Trained
* IOSH Trained
